Chief and Council invite everyone ages 14 and up to be tested for Hepatitis C on January 23rd, 24th, and 25th. We will be using a simple finger-prick blood test.  The results will be available in a few weeks and are strictly confidential.  Snacks and prizes will be available.
Hepatitis C can only spread through blood to blood exposure.  It cannot be spread through coughing, kissing, hugging, or sharing food.

If your liver is damaged from Hepatitis C, there are good treatments that cure the infection.

Testing for Hepatitis B and HIV will also be available.  All results are private.
